Shipping options There are three (3) types of shipping available as standard. 1. Registered airmail = low price / 7-10 days 2. Express airmail= mid price / 4-7 days (trackable) 3. Courier = high price / 3-4 days (trackable)
Delivery All goods are shipped by air outside Australia. This is usually a door-to-door service. Ensure the delivery address you enter is capabable of postal delivery. Most express deliveries within Australia are made in 5 days. Please allow up to 7 days. Remember that most Compact Desk products are small and light. For some low value orders, international shipping can be a high % of total. Try adding another item, it may only cost around the same to ship.
Back Orders If any goods you order are out of stock, we will contact you with an estimate of stocking date. You have the choice to:
1. Wait until stock arrives for the whole order. Charges will have been made at the time of submitting the order. The order cannot be cancelled if you decide to wait.
2. Modify your order to accept only the goods in stock and issue a new order for the other goods, to follow when available. If you choose this option your whole purchase is charged at the time of submitting the order. The new order can be cancelled within 7 days by email to sales@compactdesk.com quoting the new order number. We will refund the cancelled portion. After 7 days it cannot be cancelled and the goods will be shipped. CDD reserves the right to cancel the new order at its discretion under these same terms.
Returns & Exchanges It is possible to return or exchange goods once purchased, but only under special conditions. Please select wisely! Requests can be made by email quoting your order number.
Exchanges If you are dissatisfied with a purchase and wish to exchange it for another item or items, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt, by email to sales@compactdesk.com, stating you wish to exchange. Goods must be returned to us, in original package, at your cost. We must return these to stock in new condition without defects or evidence of use. Part value may be charged if marked in anyway. We will ship your exchange order at your cost.
If goods are returned because they were damaged in transit DO NOT OPEN THE PACKAGE, report it to the postal service first. You must notify us by email to sales@compactdesk.com within 48 hours of receipt, and all original packaging must be returned including shipping package. Initially, this will be at your cost. If we are satisfied that the transit damage was caused by our carriers, we will replace the goods with the same item or items to the same value. These will be sent at our cost and a nominal amount for return of goods (at our discretion) will be credited for future purchases, it will not be refunded.
Returns If you are dissatisfied with your purchase and require a refund you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt by email to sales@compactdesk.com, stating you wish to return for refund. Goods must be returned to us, in original package, at your cost. We must return these to stock in new condition without defects or evidence of use. Part value may be charged if marked in anyway. We will refund the value of goods but not shipping costs.
Warranty The Compact Desk Design warranty is limited to the goods purchased being of good quality and free from material and manufacturing defect. If not, we will exchange them for the same item under conditions of 'damaged returns' listed above.
